About the gathering...

Graduate student life can be hectic, stressful, and all-consuming. We can often spend days (or even weeks!) at a time wrapped up in reading, writing, and research with little or no human interaction outside of our academic lives. It can become a very isolating experience.

The Gathering seeks to draw graduate students out of that academic isolation and into a caring, supportive, and formative place. Our Christian tradition teaches us that the core of lived faith is in the collective experience, in fellowship and community.

Who’s Invited...

Though sponsored by the Episcopal Chaplaincy at BC, The Gathering is open to ALL graduate students at Boston College!

The Gathering is an ecumenical ministry. Wherever you might be on your faith journey--religious, spiritual but not religious, spiritual and religious, questioning, wondering, doubting--you are equally welcome here!

Come, gather with us if you want to find balance in your life, reflect on God's word, share your own story, connect with God, make new friends for the journey, or just simply relax and be fed!
